Henri Houtart founded a glassworks in Monthermé and operated the Condé glassworks in Jumet (Belgium).
Pierre Henri Houtart , master glassmaker, acquired the La Coupe glassworks in Jumet along with three additional glassworks.
Henri Joseph Houtart , master glassmaker, succeeded his father and acquired glassworks in northern France.
Firmin Houtart , master glassmaker. The Firmin Houtart glassworks (Lourches, Denain, etc.) were awarded the gold medal at the 1865 London Exhibition.
With Eugène Houtart, the Houtart glassworks in Denain flourished. It filed numerous manufacturing patents and won many awards at the exhibitions in Blois, Paris, and Brussels.
Charles Houtart , master glassmaker, sold the glassworks to the Saint-Gobain group.
Patrick Houtart founded Embaltec, a company specialized in bottling.
Arnauld Houtart , with extensive industrial experience, founded Embalforme, a packaging company dedicated to cosmetics and parapharmacy.
The group expanded with the creation of Aberconcept, which provides tailor-made solutions to meet the ever more demanding requirements of the market.
Embaltec officially joined the Embalforme group, thereby consolidating the family’s expertise.
Albéric Houtart founded the holding company Vercape, which brings together all the companies.
Alberic Houtart assumed the presidency of Embalforme, continuing the family legacy with energy and innovation.
