Successful Transfer of Leadership at Embalforme

Embalforme Group Opens a New Chapter in Its History

Albéric Houtart succeeds Arnauld Houtart as Chairman of the company, founded in 1993. A natural and strategic transition, supporting the group’s growth and ambition.

A Continuity in a Family Entrepreneurial Legacy

The Houtart family has embodied eight generations of entrepreneurship and a deep passion for the glass industry. This long-standing industrial culture has shaped Embalforme’s DNA: excellence, proximity, and expertise.

For Arnauld Houtart, founder of Embalforme, this transition is both natural and energizing for the company.

Arnauld Houtart retains his role as Chief Executive Officer and continues to support the group’s strategic development, ensuring solid and structured continuity.

A Committed Chairman, Glass Industry Expert

At 31, Albéric Houtart holds a Master’s degree from Kedge Business School. He joined Embalforme in 2019 as a sales executive and has since developed specialized expertise in glass manufacturing, accessories, and finishing processes, along with an in-depth understanding of the cosmetics and pharmaceutical markets.

His vision builds on the family legacy, with a clear ambition to bring new energy to the company:

“Passionate about the glass industry, I am proud to contribute to its growth. Today, I am motivated by the prospect of continuing this tradition while bringing fresh dynamism. My ambition is to strengthen our position both in France and internationally, as an expert partner in the design and manufacture of finished glass packaging based on local production (in France and neighboring countries).”

Accelerating Innovation and Environmental Commitment

In a context where environmental challenges are central, Albéric Houtart aims to reinforce the group’s eco-responsible and innovative policies, already recognized with a Gold EcoVadis medal.

This approach is exemplified by solutions such as the Omega jar, a glass jar made with PCR glass accompanied by a plant-based refill, demonstrating Embalforme’s ability to combine industrial performance, innovation, and environmental responsibility.

The goal is to offer both standard and customized solutions, in small or large series, for start-ups as well as for leading cosmetic brands.

Strengthening the Group’s Position in a Changing Market

The packaging market is evolving rapidly, driven by higher demands for sustainability, differentiation, and speed to market. In this context, Embalforme aims to reinforce its position as an expert partner, capable of supporting clients from design to finished product.

The complementarity of the group’s entities allows for a comprehensive approach: glass expertise, accessory solutions, finishing services, and personalized support. This agile organization represents a major competitive advantage in addressing contemporary challenges and anticipating industry developments.

A Human-Centered Company, Looking to the Future

Albéric Houtart reaffirms his commitment to a human-centered business model:

“I believe in a human-sized, agile company that is close to its clients. This is the vision I wish to carry forward, relying on our team’s expertise and cultivating strong, lasting partnerships. By accepting the chairmanship of Embalforme, I commit to adapting to contemporary challenges to build the future of our company together.”
